Enter In
The sparrow sings its song and morning dawns.
The daybreak cascades like a river overrun
and spreads its light abroad to wake us all.
We are darklings sleeping, called to rise.
Step out in this wild wide world and find
the more of all your darkling dreaming.
You have delved into the rivers of your mind
and met your maker where the light
was but a dream, but now the light has come.
Arise and search until what’s seen in sleep arrives.
That river runs as true and deep and far as one could hope,
where every shore you’re sure to find his home.
You cannot limit what you do not know, so enter in
to that old chapel of the wood, who lights its candles
through the trees to path your searching feet.
Enter in, to this endeavor that is living,
finding more and always more than we can dream
of just how good and true and wise He ever is.
A beautiful invitation into the woods Brit, and into that divine enchantment one finds there.
